Anyone who is fairly handy should be able to install our shutters. Most of our shutters and other window treatment products are installed by the typical DIY. Even many women have installed them. You will be provided with written installation instructions plus we have installation VIDEOS on this site that are very helpful. Usually, all that is required is to assemble the mounting frames, square up at the window and secure with screws in the predrilled holes. If you do not want to do the installation, a local handyman, carpenter, janitor, maintenance man, etc. can help you. Of course, if you are in PA or South Jersey, we offer installation of plantation shutters, shades and blinds in Bucks and Montgomery Counties and The Main Line. Our shutters are not warranted for exterior use.
We offer several shutter options for Arched Windows. The Stock Easy Arch is an excellent value. Highlite custom arches offer variety in styles, sizes and color. And the Grandview Slatted Arch is very popular. We also have vinyl arches with operable horizontal louvers that match the shutters. See our shutter arch page.

We are a dealer for most of the major manufacturers, such as Alta, Skandia, Graber, Lafayette and Norman So we offer mini-blinds, wood and faux wood blinds, honeycomb and pleated shades, vertical blinds, woven woods, zebra shades, etc. Please contact us if you are interested in a particular product as we offer an excellent combination of price and quality.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal or Money Order. Because orders are custom made to your specifications, all custom orders must be paid for when the order is placed. Orders are put into production at the factory immediately after being confirmed by the customer. Orders cannot be canceled and are not refundable once they are in production.
Due to shipping company rate increases, plantation shutters are packed and shipped at the rate of $75.00 for first shutter and $25.00 for each additional shutter.
Shipping charges for the other products will be given at time of quote.
Warranties are provided by the various manufacturers. If you wish to see the warranty for a particular product, contact us and we will email it to you. The warranty for shutters is available on line. Just click here. Riverwood Blinds Shades n’ Shutters, LLC itself disclaims any Express and/or Implied Warranties, including Warranty of Merchantability or Fitness For A Particular Purpose regarding any products you purchase. Of course, we will help you with any warranty claims you may have to the extent possible. Shipping damages must be handled immediately so claims may be made to the shipping company. If in doubt about a color, please request a color sample. Individual color samples are no charge. Small frame samples are also available no charge. A full sample shutter panel is available. The cost (less shipping) is refundable upon the return of the sample.
Vinyl Plantation Shutters are usually shipped within 10 working days. All other products are usually shipped from 2 days to 2 weeks.
If a parts back order situation occurs, you will be notified of any delay.
You will be sent the tracking number when the product has shipped, with date to expect delivery.
Delivery companies usually take 2 to 4 days to deliver.

We want you to get your order right! It is fairly easy to make a mistake or misunderstand something when ordering shutters. We need to verify all details of your order to be sure everything is correct. Since these are custom made to your specifications, we want to talk directly to you when placing an order to get a clear understanding of what is required. We make the ordering process EASY.
Frames on the inside of the opening (inside mount) will block the window from tilting in, so it is best to install the shutters on the outside of the opening using an outside mount frame, which would be the L Frame, S Frame, or the Casing Frame. The shutters can also be installed on the inside of the opening with no frame, called Direct Hinge Mount, if the windows are not out of square. See photo on Shutter Installation page.
